In June 2020, Adidas and Kanye West collaborated to create the Yeezy Foam RNNR. A slip-on shoe made with EVA foam and perforated holes, it drew comparisons to the Croc Clog. About the Yeezy Foam RNNR
The Yeezy Foam Runner debuted on the feet of Kanye West’s daughter North West in 2019. This sneaker features a clog-like silhouette, which sent the sneaker world into a frenzy for its strong similarities to the Croc. In terms of design, the Yeezy Foam Runner is without any laces or moving parts and sports an alienesque/porous construction, whose chunky rear evokes memories of the Adidas Yeezy 700. Material-wise, they partly consisted of algae, a decision that stemmed from Kanye West’s commitment to producing more sustainable products, as well as EVA Foam.
Pricing
Since its debut in 2015, the Adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR has been made available in an array of colorways ranging from Kanye West’s signature earth tones all the way to the marbled MX patterns. The Adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR retails for $90 for men’s sizes, $70 for kids’, and $50 for infant sizing. After a couple of years, we haven’t seen a lot of drops for these yet, except for some limited-edition releases that go for over $600!!
Yeezy Foam RNNR releases
After its initial release, we’ve seen over 15+ different colorways. In 2021, we saw the following Foam RNNRs release: “MX Sand Grey”, “MXT Moon Grey”, “Ochre”, “Vermilion”, “MX Cream Clay”, and “Mineral Blue”. In 2022, we’ve seen the following releases: “Sand”, “Desert Sand”, “Onyx”, “Stone Sage”, “Sulfur”, and “Mist”. With the current Adidas and Ye situation, let’s hope we see more releases in the future!

The Yeezy Foam Runner 'Ararat' debuted at London Fashion Week in February 2020. It launched without warning the following June through Kanye West's Yeezy Supply website. The molded slip-on is constructed from a unique foam compound that blends lightweight EVA with harvested algae. Sculpted lines and a neutral monochromatic finish promote a streamlined, futuristic aesthetic; oval cut-outs enable airflow for ventilated comfort.
