Yeezy
Yeezy
Since the start of the collaboration between Yeezy and Adidas back in 2015, a lot has changed. There have been many different styles of sneakers released, including the Yeezy Boost 350 and 700. The collaboration between these two brands has been a huge success, with Nike being left in the dust with its own Air Jordan brand. Want to know more about the Yeezy brand and it’s models? Read more down below!
History of Yeezy
The Yeezy brand was started by Kanye West in 2009. Designed to mix up the sneaker designs we all know and love, “Yeezys” are classified as adorned sneakers–but Kanye has grown the Yeezy brand to include a clothing and accessory line while also expanding his footwear line to include shoes like boots and heels.
First Yeezy releases
The first season of Yeezy was launched in February 2015 with the introduction of three different editions designed by Kanye West himself: The Yeezy 350, Yeezy 700, and Yeezy 500. The second season was released in February 2016 with the addition of two new models: The 350 Boost V2 and Yeezy 750 High Top. The third season was released during New York Fashion Week in September 2016 with the introduction of two new models: The 350 V2 Cream White and Yeezy 350 Bred.
Most popular Yeezy
Even though there are many models as named above, there will be one model that remains the most popular. This will be the Yeezy Boost 350. It is the first model that was launched by Kanye West and Adidas. It has become popular due to its unique design, comfortable features, and high-quality materials used in making this shoe. With the original Yeezy 350 Pirate Black and Yeezy 350 Turtle Dove being the most hyped.
Yeezy slides
The Adidas Yeezy Slides are very popular. The design of the slides is unique and recognizable. The soles are made by putting EVA-foam in a mold and letting it solidify, which gives the slippers their distinctive look. There have been many different colorways of the Yeezy Slides, but the ‘Pure’ remains popular. This colorway is light beige and goes well with many different clothing items. You can wear them at the beach or under a cool outfit.
Yeezy Foam RNNR
The Adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR is an unusual sneaker designed by Kanye West and produced by Adidas. It has a distinctive look with many holes in its silhouette, which is made from EVA foam. The shoe’s upper is also constructed from Algea materials, which are durable and replace plastic. Have you ever tried this odd but really comfortable sneaker?

Yeezy 500 ‘Blush’
Initially released in February 2018 as a limited pre-order in New York and Los Angeles, the Yeezy 500 ‘Blush’ underwent a general release in April 2018. Its moniker is a fitting one, as the monochromatic light taupe finish barely registers as a color. The subdued palette is contrasted by a bold silhouette, featuring a paneled mesh and suede upper combined with a hefty midsole reminiscent of adidas’ Feet You Wear' technology of the 1990s.

The adidas Yeezy 500 High ‘Mist Stone’ showcases a neutral greyscale finish on a mixed-material build composed of flexible elastane with reinforced overlays in cow suede and tumbled leather. Contrasting hits of black distinguish the sneaker’s padded tongue and toggle lace closure, which combine with a high-cut collar for a secure fit. A rubber wrap along the base of the upper gives way to a cream-colored adiPRENE midsole, featuring podular construction modeled after adidas’ retro Feet You Wear technology.

This inaugural colorway of Kanye West’s Yeezy 700 wave runner launched in November 2017, following a public debut earlier in the year as part of the Yeezy Season 5 runway show. The sneaker’s retro-inspired lines worked in tandem with a chunky silhouette reminiscent of an earlier era. A mesh base is finished in grey on the quarter panels and bright blue and teal on the forefoot. Suede overlays arrive on the toe and heel accented grey leather eyestays. Other details include neon green laces, a bulky white midsole, and pops of black and bright orange.
