Yeezy 700
Yeezy Boost 700
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 700, a chunky and comfortable sneaker, is popular with sneakerheads. The large midsole and subtle colors on the upper are characteristic of this model. It also has a Boost sole, unlike the Yeezy 500, which makes it incredibly comfortable. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 was designed by Kanye West and Adidas and debuted at the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show in February 2017. Want to know more about this iconic shoe? First time we’ve seen the Yeezy 700
In August 2017, Adidas released its first Yeezy Boost through its online store YeezySupply. Leaked images of the model had been talked about a lot in the months leading up to its release, and not in a positive way. But after the first sneaker came out, many people changed their minds. The hype around the silhouette exploded when Chance the Rapper wore a Yeezy Boost 700 on Saturday Night Live.
Original Colorways
In 2017, Adidas released the first Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Waverunner’ colorway. The upper was mostly gray with blue, black, green and orange details.
In 2018, the ‘Mauve’ colorway came out on the Yeezy 700 with black and brown tones for the fall season. Neon green detailing featured on midsole and gum outsole completed this colorway. After the ‘Mauve’ came the ‘Inertia’ colorway in light blue with neon orange details.
In 2019, ‘Utility Black’, ‘Analog‘, ‘Geode’, ‘Teal Blue’ and ‘Carbon Blue’ came on the model. In 2021, ‘Sun’, ‘Salt’, “Bright Blue“, “Enflame Amber”, “Wash Orange” and “Fade Azure” were released on the model.
Yeezy Boost 700 v2
Besides the original Yeezy Boost, there are also V2 and V3. The Yeezy Boost 700 V2 was released in 2018 in the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 ‘Static’ colorway. This model was dressed in white and gray and was way sportier than previous models. In 2019 we’ve seen a lot more V2 releases with a special release for the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 ‘Geode’. This release was sold through lemonade stands to raise money for the National Alliance of Mental Illness.
Yeezy 700 v3
The Yeezy 700 V3 was the first version of the model not to have Boost cushioning in its sole. It was released in December 2018, in a colorway made up of bone white and gray tones called Yeezy 700 V3 Azael. The woven base underneath was swapped for mesh and caged in RPU plastic. The sole was made bigger, making the model look more voluminous than previous versions. In the years coming we’ve seen 8 more colorways. Check them out above!

Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Wave Runner’
This inaugural colorway of Kanye West’s Yeezy 700 wave runner launched in November 2017, following a public debut earlier in the year as part of the Yeezy Season 5 runway show. The sneaker’s retro-inspired lines worked in tandem with a chunky silhouette reminiscent of an earlier era. A mesh base is finished in grey on the quarter panels and bright blue and teal on the forefoot. Suede overlays arrive on the toe and heel accented grey leather eyestays. Other details include neon green laces, a bulky white midsole, and pops of black and bright orange.
