Maybe one of the weirdest Yeezy releases is the Yeezy 450. The Adidas Yeezy 450 was designed by rapper Kanye West and released as part of the Adidas Yeezy line. First release
The first release of the Yeezy 450 was on March 6, 2021 with a debut colorway called Yeezy 450 “Cloud White”. This release featured a Primeknit upper, Boost sole and an exposed Boost cushioning unit in the rear. The second release of the Yeezy 450 was on June 28th, 2021 with a debut colorway called Yeezy 450 “Dark Slate”. Both releases featured a tumbled leather heel tab with a strap across the top which is inspired by military garb and a rope lacing system inspired by prison shackles. The shoe also features two sets of laces – one set with plastic tips and one set without – along with flat laces at the heel tabs.
Yeezy 450 restocks
Because of its very small model line there aren’t really new colorways released. As compensation for this, the Yeezy 450 is restocked quite often with older colorways we’ve already seen and liked. The Yeezy 450 ‘Dark Slate’, which was released as the first 450 also saw a restock in 2022. It wouldn’t be a surprise if we see more of these Yeezy 450s restocked in the coming years. Yeezy 450 ‘Dark Slate’
The Adidas Yeezy 450 "Dark Slate" delivers a blacked-out iteration of Kanye West's boundary-pushing silhouette. The knit upper is secured with an integrated lacing system and topped with a sock-like cuff. In lieu of a traditional midsole, the rubber outsole sprouts tapered appendages that wrap up the heel and side panels of the deconstructed build, providing support and enhanced durability within its grasp.
