The Air Jordan 1 High is a high-top basketball shoe that was released in 1985. It was the first Air Jordan model of the series to be released, and it featured a Nike Air unit in the heel. The Air Jordan 1 High has become one of the most iconic sneakers of all time due to its popularity with both players and collectors. History of the Air Jordan 1 High
The Air Jordan 1 High is the first-ever basketball sneaker to feature Nike Air technology. The shoe was designed by Peter Moore and Tinker Hatfield, and released in 1985. The Air Jordan 1 High was originally released in New York City at the Statue of Liberty, but it wasn’t until 1987 when Michael Jordan made his professional debut with the Chicago Bulls that the shoes began to gain popularity.
