Yeezy 350
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is the second iteration of Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas. The shoe is constructed with Primeknit uppers in a black, gray, or tan colorway. The Boost midsole has been used on other Adidas shoes like the UltraBOOST line, but the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 uses a new midsole that is lighter and less bulky than previous iterations.
Who made the Yeezy Boost 350?
Adidas made the Yeezy Boost 350. Kanye West wanted to work with Adidas because he thought they would understand his vision for the shoe better than Nike did when he was working on their line of sneakers. He wanted to create something that would appeal to both streetwear fans and sneakerheads alike — something that would be cool enough for high-fashion retailers like Bergdorf Goodman but also functional enough for skateboarders and skaters who need a supportive shoe that can withstand heavy wear and tear.
What is the difference between Yeezy 350 and Yeezy Boost 350?
There are two main differences between the Yeezy Boost 350 and its successor:
The sole unit is different. The original Yeezy Boost 350 had a a gum rubber outsole that was similar to the one used in the Nike Roshe Run. The newer model still has this type of outsole, but it’s been updated with an extra layer of rubber that runs around the heel area of the foot. This gives you more traction during wear and makes it easier to walk in general.
The shape of the upper is slightly different. When Kanye wore his pair for the first time, he did so without laces and instead used a zipper at the back to adjust his fit (much like how Adidas has done with its Ultra Boost line). This meant that he could tighten or loosen them as needed while waiting backstage — something that wasn’t possible
What does SPLY mean on the Yeezy boost 350?
The meaning of the acronym “SPLY 350” is unknown, but it has been suggested that it may mean either “Supply 350” or “Saint Pablo Loves You.” Since their debut in 2016 Ye never really confirmed what the meaning behind SPLY 350, was so it still remains a mystery.
What is the first released Yeezy Pair?
In 2015, Kanye West released his first Yeezy Boost 350. The shoe was the Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove.” This release kicked off the Yeezy craze. The Turtle Dove is also known as the most iconic of all the Yeezy 350s. Same as the Yeezy Boost 350 ‘Pirate Black’.
