Reimagined releases

Wish you could go back in time to cop a specific sneaker you missed out on? Don’t worry, because with these reimagined Jordan releases you’ll be sure to get a second chance and go back in time. Nike is planning on doing way more reimagined Jordan releases besides, the ones we’ve currently seen. Because we are always ahead on all the sneakernews and sneaker releases, we are going to inform you all about the previous releases and upcoming ones. So be sure to read more down below, and who knows, you fall in love with the past!

The start of reimagined releases

Nike deciding to go back in time and re-release a sneaker isn’t something we haven’t seen before. With a lot of Nike Dunk Restocks like the Nike Dunk Low ‘Grey Fog’ or ‘Panda’ we get a second chance for a sneaker. Which is only positive if you ask me. Most of the time when Nike does a re-release the colorway changes a little bit or stays the same. We will give some examples of a re-release, but not a reimagined release. Might be interesting if you want an OG sneaker.

Jordan 1 OG releases

One of the sneakers Nike likes to bring out again is the Jordan 1. With examples such as the Jordan 1 High ‘Black White’ which re-released in February 2023, and Jordan 1 High ‘Black Toe’. Besides Jordan 1 High Nike also likes to change take OG colorways and put them on the Jordan 1 Mid. The Jordan 1 Mid ‘Bred’ is a good example of this. Whenever a colorway works well, there’s always a chance we see its release in a slightly different colorway. The Air Jordan 1 High ‘Shadow backboard’ for example. With multiple versions of this release.

Other Jordan OG Releases

Not only Jordan 1s get a re-release, but also other Jordan models such as the Jordan 4 and Jordan 2 see OG colorways release again. With the original Air Jordan 4 ‘Fire Red’ release being in 1989, this “newer” version was released in 2020. A more recent release was the Air Jordan 2 ‘Chicago’. The original colorway was worn by Michael Jordan during his 1986-1987 season with the Chicago Bulls. The original release is almost priceless, whilst the newer release is available at different retailers, and has a low after-market price. Want to cop these? Be sure to check out the Air Jordan 2 ‘Chicago’ here.
