This year, Jordan brand will be revisiting an all-time classic, with it being the original 1985 colorway, the ‘Black Toe’ for the middle of 2023. A couple of months ago we saw the same thing with the Air Jordan 1 reimagined, only this time there will be no details of the vintage look. These will just have a white midsole instead of the yellowed midsole.

Why is the ‘Black Toe’ colorway so special?

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Toe” is a reinterpretation of one of the Jumpman’s most iconic offerings. Though it differs in its choice of base, this colorway is not too unlike that of the original. In terms of color blocking, the pair is as close to exact as possible with red relegated to the outsole, heel tab and heel counter. A white base lays just underneath, backlighting the black finish of the Swoosh and adjacent overlays.

When will we finally see the release of the new Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Black Toe’?

The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Black Toe’ will be releasing on the 4th of August. They are going to cost you $140 USD, just like most of the Air Jordan 1 Low’s.
