This pair is inspired by the ‘Holy land’ of Chinese streetball which is the place where the Sunset Dongdan is taking place. Jordan brand is preparing a number of sneakers which honor the tournament for 2023 with not only the Air Jordan 5 but also a new Air Jordan 37.
What’s so special about the Air Jordan 5 Low ‘Dongdan’?
A new look that celebrates all the hours in streetball during summer, the shoe’s low-profile design is a perfect fit for the season. Dark shades of pink and black are paired with the purple-tinted soles to mimic the outdoor activities after hours typically seen in the streetball’s summer season. The black nubuck upper is highlighted by striking contrast stitching, reminiscent of the retro style from the early 00s. Reflective tongues, a special heel logos as well as dusk sky graphics insoles complete the look.
